JWe welcome pitches, proposals, and finished manuscripts of all genres.
 

With regards to art publications, we appreciate work that is in full conversation with contemporary themes---such as gender and racial disparity, indigenous rights, global geopolitics and others---that dig deep below the surface, and act as a mirror or seer, or even a balm, contextualizing the personal and the profound.

 

With respect to writing, we look for work that engages with the broader scope of the world—our conflicts, losses, and triumphs, both big and small—and the perspectives that those experiences imbue upon how we move through it. In reading, we seek to experience the macro and micro relationships to ourselves, one-another, our communities and the universe writ large.

 

There's no right or wrong answer to what you can or should submit, but we do ask that you bear in mind your work's place within the broader sphere of both your contemporaries and the shoulders they've sat upon through the millennia.
